Our CORE: IT classes provide free technology workforce training to those who want to start a career in IT. We offer a variety of classes at different levels so students can progress through their learning.
Jeremiah saw an in-law’s life change through the use of IT, so he wanted to give it a shot. He graduated from our Cisco IT Essentials class and shared that the class made him feel empowered. He saw immediate results in his job search. When asked about the experience he said, “My favorite part was the dedication and the fact that everybody knew this was opening doors for them.”
Offering IT training classes for free, thanks to the generosity of our donors, is a critical component to creating digital equity in Minnesota. Everybody deserves the opportunity to thrive, and in today’s digital world, that means having basic computer skills and access.
